Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fortune Enchanted Shears with collecting Honeycombs

Shears don't destroy blocks, they collect them, but this doesn't happen when collecting honeycomb from beehives. If a pair of shears are enchanted with fortune, they should be able to collect more honeycomb. This would help be an easier and more efficient way of collecting the resources from your buzzy bee friends.

    Seems like a cool idea now that we will need a lot of honeycomb!

    Until they fix automatic bee farming on bedrock (which currently doesnt work for some reason) im voting for this idea.

    I came onto the Feedback website to suggest this very idea. I anticipate most requests for shears having fortune is to get more wool, and maybe this could also be a feature. However, fortune on shears to get more honeycomb is exactly what I was thinking.

    The only foreseeable trouble I have is that it would be the first enchanted item that can operate in a dispenser / container. I think maybe you could only get the Fortune drops when a player is holding the shears, so as to simplify this application, balance it, and not create a precedent for enchanted items in redstone / containers. But that's just me. Overall, great idea!

    I agree because there's no reason it shouldn't work. Especially because it would also be perfect for collecting wool.

    I agree. It's a pain watching your Shears durability go down so low only to get very little wool or honeycomb out of it. Fortune 3 Shears would be a great addition
