    Currently, I think the only way for redstone to travel through blocks is when a repeater is facing the block. As that always brings the redstone level to 15, each stage of oxidation may bring it down a certain level, allowing you to choose what level it is at more easily

    Alternatively, copper blocks may reduce redstone levels when redstone goes over them

    The redstone may be reduced by a fixed number of levels or by percentages

    More oxidized blocks may reduce more redstone levels as they are more worn, or less oxidized blocks may do that as they are more conductive

    Love this idea, being able to do this precisely and compactly (without having to build a network of comparators). Maybe Copper should connect to redstone like target blocks do on Java, 0ox works like any block being powered directly, 1ox does the same but reduces the level by 1, 2ox by 2, fully oxidized by 3.
