Spores in mushroom biomes

we already have snow in snowy biomes, so how about having spores instead of rain for the mushroom biomes? it would add just a small bit of detail to an area that has remained unchanged for 9 years.

    there could be a new mushroom that is orange and it would be open topped and give out spores

    Spore Storms should turn grass and dirt blocks into mycelium faster, replant mushrooms in empty mycelium patches, turn mobs like cows into their mushroom variant, increase mushroom growth into giant mushrooms, etc. Mushroom biomes may do this already, but Spore Storms may increase this

    This orange mushroom could have spots that are entire blocks. The blocks could drip spore particles, make spore particles float in the air, or spawn spore mobs/particles. If this block is taken out of a mushroom island, it should convert the dirt into mycelium

    If Mushroom Islands are given a cool mob or block that needs the Mushroom environment to survive, spores could allow you to more easily make that environment in other areas

    Maybe if you leave the mushroom  biome shortly after getting touched by spores for a few seconds as you walk all dirt variants get replaced with mycelium like the spores are spreading and growing?
