Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Tinted Redstone Lamps

Similar to tinted glass, tinted redstone lamps would function like a normal redstone lamp, but it would not emit light levels. This is helpful when making light indicators in redstone contraptions, without causing as much lag as normal redstone lamps would. To craft a tinted redstone lamp place a redstone lamp in the middle of the crafting grid with four amethyst shards in a plus formation.

    I'm not entirely certain, but I don't believe that it is light that is causing the lag, I believe it has to do with the fact that it is being powered and that the block has to check for that
