Rose Gold

I think copper should have another use. I believe that when you craft a gold ingot into a smithing table and add a copper ingot, you should get rose gold. If you turned this into armour or tools, it would have the same durability of iron but the other stats of gold. This would make copper and gold more useful in the earlier game.

    You should just use a copper ingot on gold armor, tools, and weapons instead of making a new ingot to craft those items

    Yeah. I was just going to post that SAME idea and then I saw your post. Rose Gold Armor will be useful in Nether against Piglins. Your and mine ideas match. When Cave update was announced and I saw Copper is added and then I got information that Copper is added to Gold to make it more stronger and more shiny. Mojang should really add this.

    not to mention, this mechanic would teach players about the smithing table long before they get their hands on netherite.  System Z has a good video on the idea.

    You should be able to craft an item with copper and something else,and when you put that in a smothng table with gold gear you make rose gold gear. that,or a copper block because 1 copper ingot is too cheap for rose gold armour

    Maybe the smithing template could be made of copper as well, and could be incredibly common in treasure chests and dungeon loot

    Also you could get pink armor trims.

    We should also probably add silver to it and you can only get silver from the sniffer digging up a silver flower and a silver maple tree

    If you want to add rose gold into minecraft you need to add silver to minecraft first and rose gold complimentary to amethyst because amethyst is purple
