The last post was the mechanics of this biome, reasons people would want to go there (or more likely, reasons they would want to avoid that biome,) for as Inkycatz said, "pretend there was a bug that took out every mob, item, or structure in your area, and discuss why people would want to go there." That post answered those, and now I will discuss features of this biome: the end wood and the Lizard-Beasts.
End Wood, or "Corrupted Shrubs"
On the islands of the ocean, there is a chance that one of these will appear. Corrupted Shrubs are a few blocks of Corrupted Bark, blocks that generate 4 Corrupted Planks when crafted. Corrupted Planks are functionally the same as nether wood, except that they can be crafted into Boats, which can be used to cross the seas. These boats sink at random, most likely in the middle with no islands nearby, so it isn't a great idea to use these. Swimming in corrupted water is slower than in lava, so it is very likely a couple of Lurkers will find and eat you.
Lizard Beasts, or "Lurkers"
Swimming across the green seas, are the hostile Lurkers. They fiercely defend the waters from any players that dare cross it. They attack in groups, shooting acid balls. When about to attack, they rise up, showing their underbellies. This is their weakness, and 50% more damage is dealt when attacking there. When killed, Lurkers can drop Lurker Hide. Lurker Hide can be crafted into Lurker Chaps. Lurker Chaps allow you to swim across corrupted water with increased speed.
