Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I like the idea of different road materials giving different speeds, but many players may simply want to use blocks for their design and not have that design be affected by if it makes it slower or faster or whatever

    I can imagine this being more useful if buildings got damaged over time, or of wind could sway buildings

    I think this would be useful for snow, if powdered snow turns into snow when packed, and then snow could turn into packed snow, then ice, packed ice, blue ice, etc

    Blocks may get broken over time if they have too much weight on them. For example, concrete could be crushed into concrete powder

    Still, while blocks breaking under pressure would be annoying, it wouldn't have too much of an impact as most blocks aren't affected by gravity, so they wouldn't come tumbling down

    Haha, I originally skimmed over the post, but I just went back and reread it, and I like the idea of it making structures more blast resistant. However, wouldn't putting "heavier" blocks on top make it more difficult to damage? Perhaps the closer surrounding blocks are to heavier/foundation blocks the more resistant the blocks will be
