If amethyst is a musical element

I think, if amethyst was a musical element of the game, it could be placed under a noteblock and then when the noteblock is used, it makes the amethyst footsteps noise in the pitch selected. Also because I think amethyst is a musical item, I think noteblocks should be made out of 8 wooden planks but an amethyst block instead of a diamond.

  That's jukeboxes that use diamonds, noteblocks use Redstone

  ^ I think OP meant jukebox, if that's the case I agree. Needing diamonds just for a jukebox never made sense.
