Update the legacy editions again

I get minecraft bedrock has features that the legacy edition does not, however the sole purpose of a game is for people to enjoy it. Minecraft bedrock was fun for the first couple of weeks as it was new, but the menus, creative mode and even game performance is a massive downgrade from the legacy editions. For me, this really demotivated me from playing the game. Both games have ups and downs but I’m pretty sure many console players would prefer to play the legacy editions again rather than bedrock. The 4J team are extremely talented and for me, only creating maps for minecraft bedrock is talent being wasted. I get Minecraft legacy edition on old-gen consoles would struggle with the current updates so why not bring them back for next-gen consoles? They’re extremely powerful and would run Minecraft brilliantly. It would also bring a lot of the Minecraft console player-base back as well as make you guys a bit more money. What do you have to lose!

    Short answer NO, long answer why would they update a version they no longer handle and has a small playerbase compared to bedrock? It is a waste of resources and time.

    please do not remove bedrock edition but please update legacy console edition or add all of the it's features to bedrock edition INCLUDING THE FURNACE MINECARTS.

    It would be a good idea to make "minecraft legacy editon" free on switch, Xbox one and ps4 and allow free online multi-player so at least people can still enjoy the older content of the game, bedrock is for newer generation basically and since legacy was a very much more loved game then bedrock it would be good go allow players to be able to download it and play it still even till now.

    Give our choice!

    so everyone can afford every of 2 editions he/she wants!

    for example i want my old Minecraft ps4 edition and my friend want bedrock edition,

    NO PROBLEM! download both to switch between them and to be supported both.

    This is the best solution for the problem.

    I want the legacy edition is back its more better and the graphic and for nostalgia i want it back and get more new updates i love pls because bedrock sometimes have a bug that i can't play with my old friends :(

    I think we could all agree it wouldnt hurt just to let people purchase the legacy console editions. Updates woulds be even better but just allowing us to purchase them to play mini-games etc. would be fine enough.

    Heck you would still make money by just letting us purchase them. Double the price if ya wanna be greedy, i dont care, just lets us buy them!

    You give us an alternative for PC (Java Edition), why not give us an alternative for console?

    I think updating the legacy console would cause Mojang to go bankrupt and then Microsoft in the long run, so instead I propose they just put the legacy consoles back on sale for people to buy as an outdated alternative to bedrock. The caviads would be a doubled price tag, its heavily bloat the ganr with ads saying there is a better version or something that is reciving updates to intice people onto bedrock.

    That way they make money from a console purchase and if the user buys bedrock from the ads inticing them. It would kinda take away the pure console feel but they needa make money somehow with console editions on sale.

    Updates on console editions would be cool and all but, not to practical for 4J, Microsoft and Mojang.

    True! Bedrock is way too laggy and I consider it a massive downgrade compared to the Legacy Edition!

    I say that it would be better to just return the legacy tutorial mode for bedrock since it supports a lot of new players without experience and that is how I learned in minecraft apart from the fact that they were beautiful constructions

    As someone who plays on the xbox 360 TO THIS DAY (since my world just crashes on bedrock) I support this idea. I'm not "nistolgia blind", since I literally play legacy to this day. I literally cant convert my world to bedrock, which says something about how damn buggy bedrock is. However, if they manage to fix up bedrock and stop forcing minecoins on us,. I support bedrock (and they need to make the menus WAY better. I also want better HUD size options, since my hud takes up half of the screen. I also feel like they should make the loading times quicker, as on bedrock it takes around a minute to load minecraft, while on the xbox one edition it only takes around 30 seconds. I only have 2 worlds on bedrock, so that says something.

    Im playing java right now and quitted playing on console edition after 5-6 months after bedrock was released on console but i saw how less i played before i mostly played minecraft on console like +30 a week but after bedrock released i just didnt play a lot and played other games. Bedrock is just bad and its only purpose is the ingame market i think they can add this to java discountinue bedrock edition. We dont need bedrock edition its only use is ez to add to java and console editions

    I personally think Minecraft legacy is fine the way it is and really doesn't need updates. if it did have one last (very late) update all I ask is for the shields and looms to be added and that's it. but it's very unlikely they do cuz Mojang probably ended their license with 4jstudios a long time ago and they were the main developers of the legacy console so they would have to go through the trouble of relicensing them just to add a few blocks to legacy edition when almost no one plays it anymore.

    This would be awesome, for an updated version it could be like both Bedrock and Java edition. The only thing that would make me not want to play this version is if it had no mod support.

    This is my favourite version of Minecraft, yes I have xbox one and I don't own it only trial, I only play on birthdays and with friends splitscreen. I don't play a lot of but It is very good edition and when you play legacy edition for a while and you like it, you loved it so much. Java is good for PC but bedrock is not bad but it is lagging on my xbox one, on my phone it is crash and and back to a position I was in and I have to build something all over again, and my phone is good enough to play Minecraft without problems and I don't try bedrock on PC but I don't wanna try. Why I writting this, well because when I play legacy it is not lagging at all and Demo edition too. I would Microsoft. Mojand and 4J studios to if you want just to put on store. So we can buy and enjoy while you get extra money for that and that is good compromise for both side. And if you ask me, 1.13 is very good release so you don't need to update and please Microsoft. Mojand and 4J studios put back on store so we can enjoy.

    As much as many people might miss this game, I just don't see this happening. Console edition is a lot to maintain, whereas bedrock is just 1 platform ported to other consoles. I'd like to see it return, or at least something similar, but I really think you should just give up. Like it or not, a few hundred people aren't going to make Microsoft revert their decision, especially after such a long time. People have adapted to Bedrock, and by now Editions is just a passing memory.

    Instead of upvoting an idea that is unlikely to make a change, vote to bring Editions features to Bedrock. It won't ever feel the same, but the community is capable of making the game better, instead of reviving a dead game which will then require years of catching up before it'd be released. At this point, Editions is just too far behind.

    I can agree with this post. It most likely will never happen, but Mojang, LET 4J BRING BACK MINECRAFT LEGACY EDITION!!! They helped you extend your game and make more money. I’m begging you to bring it back. Ever since my oldest brother introduced it to me, I’ve been addicted to it and have nonstop played it. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!! That’s all I have to say

    Ok. Personally, the least they could do for us it to let us still buy those older versions on all consoles along with their DLCs. Right?
