Update the legacy editions again

I get minecraft bedrock has features that the legacy edition does not, however the sole purpose of a game is for people to enjoy it. Minecraft bedrock was fun for the first couple of weeks as it was new, but the menus, creative mode and even game performance is a massive downgrade from the legacy editions. For me, this really demotivated me from playing the game. Both games have ups and downs but I’m pretty sure many console players would prefer to play the legacy editions again rather than bedrock. The 4J team are extremely talented and for me, only creating maps for minecraft bedrock is talent being wasted. I get Minecraft legacy edition on old-gen consoles would struggle with the current updates so why not bring them back for next-gen consoles? They’re extremely powerful and would run Minecraft brilliantly. It would also bring a lot of the Minecraft console player-base back as well as make you guys a bit more money. What do you have to lose!

    cmon everyone get your crap together and vote for legacy edition to get updates again, bedrock is the worst at fixing bugs, lag, world corruption etc. sure yeah add the blocks to the old version we would like that.

    Please bring it back. I  have had Bedrock on my Xbox one since it came out in 2017 and it is buggy. The knockback in servers suck, The menus suck, and you have to but everything. Please remove bedrock from xbox one and PS4 and give us back legacy or Atleast make a Xbox Series or PS5 legacy edition

    They don't have the license to do that anymore. Besides, instead of just updating versions that very few people could play now, Mojang should focus on updating Bedrock Edition. Bedrock Edition has a lot of potential for being as good as or even better than the old Legacy Console Editions. Spending a lot resources on Legacy Console that could otherwise be used to improve Bedrock Edition performance, UI and gameplay is a huge waste.

    Ziad El-Moursy  if the Console Edition would get updated it would probably be updated by 4J so the Bedrock Edition won't lose any Dev. I also don't think that the Bedrock Edition can be better because it is very buggy.

    This is a wonderful idea! I'd love to see Mojang consider it and maybe bring 4J Studios back on the team! It would be much better to do this rather than use bedrock edition as the mainline edition of the game...

    Sure it would probably require more resources and money, but I think it would be worth it! Plus, the legacy edition preforms tons better than bedrock, and feels less soulless than bedrock.. Feels like it had more heart and soul put into it, when bedrock just seems to be an "upgrade" for the sake of being an "upgrade"...

    And don't get me started on minecoins and mine tokens... Oh my goodness, I understand people make money off of this and it helps pay the bills- but it feels so much like a soulless crash-grab... It even shoves maps and microtransactions in your face when you're trying to start a world... The most Legacy Edition ever did was say "Hey! Look at these cool texture packs, you can try them out for free if you would like, you don't have to buy them though. But we would appreciate if you did!"
    Bedrock is so much more forceful on it, while in Legacy edition it was just there, and a nice little addon...

    With all this being said, I still don't understand why they stopped supporting the console editions of the game besides to have cross-platform play, but I'm sure they could've imported it somehow without having to switch everything to bedrock...

    yeah console edition is way better and I never got switch edition and I really want it and maybe they will put all the console edition DLC on switch but I have bedrock on switch and it runs so bad same with my series x and my cousins series s

    Please everyone out there! I love every Minecraft version but for consoles the lagacy edition is still the best version! 4J Studios did a great job and we really want to get Minecraft Legacy back to live! For example how cool would it be if we get a new minigame or how cool would it be to search for netherite on the console edition?? PLEASE!!!!!! Vote for legacy Minecraft. Its not worth it to let one of the best versions of minecraft die just because of bedrock. Bedrock is cool to but not as cool as legacy to be honest..... Please vote!

    The old Minecraft was more stable and playable. Not only that but I have many friends who prefer the old Minecraft a lot more then bedrock and i agree with them.

    Agreed. 4J Studios was very skilled of making Minecraft on the console.

    Bedrock seemed like a good idea on paper but the way they went about it was horrible IMO. The fact that it takes close to 20 minutes just to load into the game on Xbox one s should really tell you that this game was not fully tested before it was released. Also, let's not forget the 4j DLCS are more expensive on bedrock than they are on the older console editions. I think the main issue I have with bedrock is that not only was it not fully tested, it's also the ONLY version you can buy digitally now because they got rid of

    the old Xbox one edition (Which they never should've done) I ended up paying $80 for the physical version just to play it because it's so much better. I also time to time still play on my 360 although it needs a bug fix update. If I was in charge I would get rid of bedrock and continue to update the older console editions because they are worth updating more than bedrock. I would also get rid of game pass.

    dudes vote already. this version was the best in my opinion. i can tell you why but it would fill up the whole page, i mostly liked the crafting, mechanics and all of it really. vote NOW!
