Update the legacy editions again

I get minecraft bedrock has features that the legacy edition does not, however the sole purpose of a game is for people to enjoy it. Minecraft bedrock was fun for the first couple of weeks as it was new, but the menus, creative mode and even game performance is a massive downgrade from the legacy editions. For me, this really demotivated me from playing the game. Both games have ups and downs but I’m pretty sure many console players would prefer to play the legacy editions again rather than bedrock. The 4J team are extremely talented and for me, only creating maps for minecraft bedrock is talent being wasted. I get Minecraft legacy edition on old-gen consoles would struggle with the current updates so why not bring them back for next-gen consoles? They’re extremely powerful and would run Minecraft brilliantly. It would also bring a lot of the Minecraft console player-base back as well as make you guys a bit more money. What do you have to lose!

    if you have the old ps4 mc disc you can click on editons button but most dont have the button :(

    I understand that Bedrock Edition is better and blah, blah, blah. But the Interface, the world settings, the world generation is better. You can do ampfiled world. Consoles need own version!!

    yea they should bring back legacy console edition because bedrock edition is bad and when i play bedrock edition it doesnt feel like im playing minecraft

    Please everyone out there! I love every Minecraft version but for consoles the lagacy edition is still the best version! 4J Studios did a great job and we really want to get Minecraft Legacy back to live! For example how cool would it be if we get a new minigame or how cool would it be to search for netherite on the console edition?? PLEASE!!!!!! Vote for legacy Minecraft. Its not worth it to let one of the best versions of minecraft die just because of bedrock. Bedrock is cool to but not as cool as legacy to be honest..... Please vote!

    dudes vote already. this version was the best in my opinion. i can tell you why but it would fill up the whole page, i mostly liked the crafting, mechanics and all of it really. vote NOW!

    Please please make this big the 1.17 bedrock edition of Minecraft is sooo broken and I’m mad about this. 4j would never release a game with these many game breaking bugs so please vote for this to get mojang and Microsoft attention about this to bring 4j back do a hashtag save ps4 legacy edition

    Agreed. 4J Studios was very skilled of making Minecraft on the console.

    I agree with you that we should have the Legacy Edition of Minecraft. Because it was the only version I could play of Minecraft at the time, and I never got bored. So let's hope that Mojang brings it back!!.

    after looking at it i found even that cool features that for some reason wasnt even in java so it feels like i like console(aka legacy) editon even more than java but as how its now only on xbox 360 and wii (i think) so i use java still

    I personally don't ask for legacy edition returning and being brought up to par with modern editions, except possibly the xbox one and ps4 editions getting new blocks, but having what was lost from the older games brought into the new game would be a game changer. The externally run servers like hive and mineplex are fun to join, but having the official Minecraft hunger games, spleef, and elytra games you could customize, setup, and chat with people in, all the while doing the easter eggs in the lobby and having it be easy to invite your friends to a game conveniently would be great, even using the old maps, because there's a reason people still play legacy pvp when they can get bedrock free. Also being able to have an actual tutorial or tutorial prompts would help the kids to be on par with more educated players, I loved getting to walk around and thoroughly explore each hand crafted map an update and seeing the entirely new map to teach the player how to do certain thing. I know bedrocks basic prompts have glitches, but I could see it working to help narrow the gap, just make it count as a cheat world like the old game so the kids will open portals in their own worlds to complete the achievements. Having worlds where like in the old game 1 of a necessary structure would usually appear in world generation unlike the current "old" style world generation, it's more similar to cave-game or Minecraft beta than Minecraft legacy worlds (jk). But just wish they were in the game.

    The old world generation would run better in general, be better suited for non realm 8 player exploration together, actually function as a completely playable map rather than crappy "old" world generation, and be better modable than an infinite world having less chunks loaded in.

    Even though the Minecraft fandom says that legacy can only be played on Xbox 360 and Xbox one. It can also be played on Ps3, PsVita and Wiu. Wouldn't mind bring it back. Keep the textures though, it's authentec

    Minecraft legacy Console edition made a lot of fun and it still is. I lost many Worlds in bedrock edition, because of corruption. I think 4J Studios did a great job and still could do such an amazing work. I feel like bedrock edition is a beta version and not a fully done project.

    Bedrock seemed like a good idea on paper but the way they went about it was horrible IMO. The fact that it takes close to 20 minutes just to load into the game on Xbox one s should really tell you that this game was not fully tested before it was released. Also, let's not forget the 4j DLCS are more expensive on bedrock than they are on the older console editions. I think the main issue I have with bedrock is that not only was it not fully tested, it's also the ONLY version you can buy digitally now because they got rid of

    the old Xbox one edition (Which they never should've done) I ended up paying $80 for the physical version just to play it because it's so much better. I also time to time still play on my 360 although it needs a bug fix update. If I was in charge I would get rid of bedrock and continue to update the older console editions because they are worth updating more than bedrock. I would also get rid of game pass.

    First of all, Minecraft Legacy is not the same as bedrock and definitely not the same as java. It is better than both because it has features that both bedrock and java don't. Plus it has worlds that you can try out before buying them and they have mini games like battle, glide, and another one but some day they will eventually update legacy. Even if it's 20 years from now
