Update the legacy editions again

I get minecraft bedrock has features that the legacy edition does not, however the sole purpose of a game is for people to enjoy it. Minecraft bedrock was fun for the first couple of weeks as it was new, but the menus, creative mode and even game performance is a massive downgrade from the legacy editions. For me, this really demotivated me from playing the game. Both games have ups and downs but I’m pretty sure many console players would prefer to play the legacy editions again rather than bedrock. The 4J team are extremely talented and for me, only creating maps for minecraft bedrock is talent being wasted. I get Minecraft legacy edition on old-gen consoles would struggle with the current updates so why not bring them back for next-gen consoles? They’re extremely powerful and would run Minecraft brilliantly. It would also bring a lot of the Minecraft console player-base back as well as make you guys a bit more money. What do you have to lose!

    If they would bother to fix bedrock this wouldn't even be an issue. I would pay for legacy edition. Even if they never update again. I would refund bedrock if they'd let me. It is to buggy. It is really sad because I bought my pc for Minecraft only. Java runs on my computer better than bedrock does. I will admit that I use performance mods. Even still the difference is staggering. I miss being able to play on my console and sit on a couch. Never will those days return.

    The thing is I do want Minecraft Legacy Edition back, but not under Mojang's control, under 4J Studios control. Minecraft became a terrible game after Mojang ruined it and took over with their garbage updates (like the Glowsquid). I don't want Legacy Edition to be ruined...

    legacy edition was so good but bedrock has so many bugs and there are no mini games. can it please be under control by mojang and 4j studios

    also please either do an archyology update or and end update . like really bookshelves 2.0 , boats 2.0

    This is so true! Bedrock has countless lag on ANYTHING, FROM PC TO SWITCH, and even then, the legacy didn't even have lag, the only sort of lag there was were FPS drops and multiplayer (if you had really REALLY bad internet), but Mojang refuses because Bedrock makes them LOTS of money just because of the marketplace and the skins, bro, the older versions just had the best skin selection ever, now you have to buy them, AT LEAST UPDATE IT PLEASE, MAKE A 3rd PLAYABLE EDITION ON CONSOLE!!!!!!! pls mojang or else

    I really hope they pay attention to this. Bedrock is trash, and I think they should ditch it for Legacy Console Edition. Combine everything version, making cross platform happen on LCE, then update it but don't change it too much. Bedrock's feeling is horrible, and I miss the old feeling of Legacy Console Edition. BUT UNDER 4J STUDIOS CONTROL!!

    I can't even get the disk version because i'm on series s. the closest I can get is downloading the trial of legacy edition.

    Bedrock is really just a buggy mess while legacy edition barley has any bugs sure you may see them here and there but it's better than playing bedrock

    even if they wont do that, they should at least bring back some of the exclusive features (custom superflat, official minigames, etc...) and let 4J studios do the console ports instead of microsoft.

    Sé que Mojang no está interesado en actualizar Minecraft Console Edition, pero si pudieran añadir el botón de editar sería genial.

    Lo que molaría más, es que desde 4jStudios desarrollaran un nuevo Minecraft Console Edition, esta vez solo para Xbox X|S series, PS5 y Nintendo, desarrollando un código totalmente nuevo, que permitiera mundos infinitos, sabemos que es posible, lo hemos visto en bedrock, y bedrock usa el mismo lenguaje de programación que usa Minecraft Legacy que es C++, MOJANG no tendría nada que perder, al contrario, el juego sería desarrollado por 4jStudios y Mojang/Microsoft se llevarían una parte de los beneficios como hicieron en Minecraft Legacy, los minijuegos, los mundos tutoriales, la personalización de los mundos superplanos que en Legacy tenían funciones exclusivas y todas esas características que hicieron de Minecraft Legacy ese juego especial donde tantos Youtubers se iniciarán en un mundo de Xbox 360.

    Make bedrock similar to legacy and make it less buggy, smoother, remove minecoins and let 4j studios develop it, with it still including cross platform play. This is the best solution i can think of and bedrock would be a lot more popular.

    Id love to get the legacy version on modern consoles and feel the nostalgia, but i think if they are going to update it, they will make it a cashgrab wich is what nobody wants.

    If they don't update legacy edition they should at least make legacy still available to any device that ran it before bedrock came out (Xbox 1, Playstation 4, Nintendo switch etc.).

    You should update xbox one and switch edition to 1.14 as a last update as the ps4 edition already has it and make the legacy console editions come free with bedrock as its currently impossible to purchase Minecraft switch edition.

    How about Deep Dark and Wardens in Battle, Tumble and Glide Mini Games? They would add a challenge.

    There are still crash bugs on Legacy Console. Many need to be reproduced by the player. Examples are:

    • Book and Quill Crash (this has been patched recently)
    • Instant Respawn Open Inv Crash
    • Snow Golem+ Dispenser Crash

    Other bugs are:

    • Obtaining Bedrock in Survival

    I suggest:

    • Being able to Compost netherwart.
