Fur Boots

All right. Everything I've seen with this "fur clothing" idea has either been underwhelming on detail (sometimes none at all) or a little too out there for my liking, but as I know many will compare me to those, I'm opening with: This idea randomly came to me, and is not like the others you may have seen.

First, the item itself as stated by the title: Fur Boots. With caves and cliffs we are getting so many new things that one more item might break the devs, but I'm hoping that this doesn't hurt them too much. The mechanics I was thinking were only two; Deafen and Soft Feet.

Currently, leather boots allow the player to walk over powdered snow without falling through, which will allow for some strange scaffolding tricks that Reddit has kindly shown to us already. I call this mechanic Soft Feet, and I would like it applied to the fur boots, which will give an alternative. As for Deafen, we have to travel deep underground. All the way to the Deep Dark.

Wireless redstone has been added in the form of the Sculk Sensor, which has Wool Exclusion(Inclusion?) to make it incapable of hearing what is on the other side. This is where the Deafen effect gathers its name as I would like it to behave the way walking on wool blocks now does. If the player walks along wool blocks, the sculk sensor will not be triggered. So, that is where the second mechanic for these boots would come in and why these boots may not be too far out there.

Fur will be gathered from Fox, Bears, and Goats to make these.

    1500 character limit is torturous. I wanted to also talk about the fur itself and how to craft fur boots.

    Fox - 0-2 on death.

    Goat - 1-4 on death.

    Panda/Polar Bear - 0-6 on death.

    The crafting recipe would be 6 fur on top of a pair of leather boots. The reason is to have some sort of sense between the recipe for these boots and why they behave the way they do. No, none of the other armor variants would have fur boot types, just leather. And no, no other armor pieces would have the ability to be padded with fur. I want this to be simple, and I feel this was the best way to do that.
