Warden Mechanism that still balances the game

Currently, you are not able to get anything from the warden or maybe just a trophy item because you're not supposed to kill it but run away from it, But a lot of minecraft players like a special drop from the warden when killed. So, how about it drops something special when killed but something bad will happen after killing it that will make you regret and might discourage you from killing the warden again. For example, after killing the warden, the souls stuck in it's chest escape and will cause something to you or whatever.

    Interesting idea, but it still involves people killing the Warden. While a bad after affect could work, we don't really know if there will be one Warden or not or if it respawns

    The Warden doesn't have to drop anything. If you want a new item, just have it be an item that the Warden is guarding in the Deep Dark Biome

    That way it is easier to avoid the Warden to get the item and killing it isn't necessary at all
