Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Netherite horse armor and horse armor enchantments

 
NETHERITE HORSE ARMOR
Netherite horse armor would give the horse +10 knockback resistance and 15 protection and could be found only in bastions(Not in every one either, it would be quite rare).
 
HORSE ARMOR ENCHANTMENTS
Enchantments can be put on every type of horse armor.
Enchantments list:
-Protection(lvl: 1-4, Damage reduced for all)
-Fire Protection(lvl: 1-4, Damage reduced for fire, lava and blaze fireballs)
-Blast Protection(lvl: 1-4, Damage reduced for exposions)
-Projectile Protection(lvl: 1-4, Damage reduced for Arrows, thrown tridents, ghast and blaze fireballs)
-Feather Falling(lvl:1-4, Damage reduced for fall damage)
-Float(lvl:1-3, It will make your horse drown less in water depending on the level)

    So Us "Humans" have Netherite Armor To protect us, But what about horses? The best armor they can get is diamond! So if horses had Netherite Armor, they have more protection. Please add Netherite Horse Armor.

    I really support being able to enchant horse armor. Specifically, horse armor should be able to get the "Frost Walker" enchantment. As a transportation option, I feel that horses need some kind of improvement to be able to compete with the other options. Being able to cross bodies of water would not only make them a more desirable transportation option but it would also make Frost Walker a more desirable enchantment.

    "and could be found only in bastions" strongly disagree with this, keep the horse armor loot tables as they are and only add Netherite Horse Armor as an upgrade to diamond horse armor on a smithing table, they same way you upgrade all other diamond gear

    There are no horses in Nether. Bastions cannot have horse armor.

    It would instead be better if horse armor was craftable. And then upgrade it to netherite. Also, replace Float with Frost Walker and add Thorns.

    it would make sense if you could use a netherite upgrade on diamond horse armor to make netherite horse armor. this would fix the problem of horses not being in the nether.

    I LOVE this idea!!

    I've been wondering for a while why this has not happed yet. Horse armor is the only armor that you cannot enchant.. nor has a netherite upgrade (from diamond). Not only would it let horse PVP be an option, it would greatly improve in game battles as well (ex: Villager Raids)

    I think keeping in a bastion is a cool choice.. however i think having it be craftable from diamonds with a smithing table should also be an option.

    I think adding Frost Walker as an enchantment would benefit greatly as well. Though personally i think they should just have horses be able to swim. I mean you wouldn't think it, but horses are in fact really great swimmers! They have a natural instinct (like most animals) to start swimming once they hit deep water, plus huge lungs that keep them buoyant.

    I would like to add something, if you don't mind, to that list of enchantments. (This is quite brilliant by the way; I was just about to post about enchantments on horse armor when I saw this post) 

    There should be a new enchantment added, that only goes on horse armor. Perhaps it could be called... actually I have no ideas for names, but it is an enchantment that allows you to ride your horse in water. maybe it could be like depth strider, where the higher levels actually make the horse faster in water than on land, but I just wanted to tell you how mad I get when my horse dumps me into the ocean. Thank you!

    definitely agree, netherite horse armor would be even more benefitial to horse than player (especially as it cant be enchanted in current game), it should also have enchantments, all "protection" ones should be mutually exclusive same as on regular armor and should have same effects, feather falling be possible to add to any "protection" one, also having depth strider to allow horse carry you on bottom of bodies of water same as skeleton horse (which sadly sucks because they generally seem to have low HP and cant wear armor) or if they make horses able to carry you when swimming, they swim, run in shallow water faster, that be mutually exclusive to frost walk, which would let you run on water instead (I think if you make such armor with commands and put on horse, it even all works so it should be no issue coding-wise)
    however netherite horse armor should be also, or even only, craftable same as netherite human armor is, netherite upgrade, diamond armor and ingot in smithing table
    not sure with stats, seems reasonable, I dont think horses need +10 knockback resistance, so far I experienced basically nonexistent knockback even without it but armor toughtness of some value should be also present to match netherite stat style
    not need to mention, armor trims should be applicable on horse armor too

    I would add Frost Walker to the enchantment list. Horses can't go in boats, but one of the main reasons I find myself disinclined to use horses is crossing rivers. Frost Walker would help solve this problem.
