Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

AMETHYST

Amethyst ore could be found in coordinates Y 5 to Y9 it’s rarer than diamonds can be crafted into armour and items stronger than netheright but sooooooper rare found in 1to 3 blocks

    Amethyst is the awesome purple transparent crystal mineral which is birthstone of Aquarius
    Shakira, Chloie Grace are born under this stone. some believe that Amethyst is a natural tranquiliser, relieving stress and strain, soothes irritability, balances mood swings, dispels anger, rage, fear and anxiety. Alleviates sadness and grief, and dissolves negativity. This would make a great potion to close 2020!

    This will already be a thing in the next minecraft update. As for crafting it into armour, I can't see this happening as this game is already far easier than it used to be without another tier of armour. I would be fine adding it to diamond armour like netherite is for a specific new feature, but it would have to be that you cannot have both at once. This would make players choose between them assuming that they are well balanced. Right now, your late-game tools always look the same, without much room for experimentation. The only choices I've ever had to make is mending/infinity on a bow, and sharpness/smite on a sword. I think more variation is needed. If this is added for armour, it would be nice to see other players wearing something other than netherite from time to time.

    You can only mine it with Diamond pickaxe with efficiency 1or over or netheright pickaxe

    That would be cool but it could be worse than Netherite still since it is hard to get to the nether

    Having amethyst armor and tools isn't a bad idea, but making it stronger than diamond won't make sense since amethyst is not as hard as diamonds, maybe its mike quartz or hard glass but not as diamonds
