Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dynamite (Throwable Explosive)

An item like TNT that the player can throw. After a few seconds of being thrown it will explode. The explosion can only break weak blocks (wooden doors, leaves, glass etc) and it deals a lot of damage  to mobs (the explosion is not as strong TNT blocks though)

    This is a very good idea, I would say that the crafting recipe will require 1 gunpowder and 1 sand, since it's basically a smaller version of TNT. For the sake of balance though, perhaps the throwing of it will need the player to hold and time it for a direct explosion hit and max damage. They would also need a flint n steel in their left hand.

    I think it should be a string on top, sand, then gunpowder. I think that it should operate like the trident: the longer you hold it, the farther it goes. Maybe if you hold it for too long it explodes.

    I think it should be crafted with string and tnt 4-8 pieces

    Great idea! In real life Dynamite is made by wrapping paper around explosives so Dynamite could be made by wrapping 4 pieces of paper around 1 gun powder! The explosion strength would be 1.
