Glowing leather armor

I think it'd be cool if the glow squids dropped glow ink sacs that you could use on leather armor, letting you see better in dark places and in water, where it could be more effective, working as a replacement for night vision potions at the sacrifice of armor points. A chestplate would give off the most light, the leggings second, a helmet third and the boots would give off the least amount of light.

  I personaly think this would be awesome! but a disadvantage is that mobs could be made to see you better depending on the amount of light your armor emits

  They wouldn't be able to give off light thanks to the limitations of the lighting engine, but I'd really like this idea to be implemented. They could still have a glow in the dark effect, like Enderman eyes or the new dyed signs. It could be useful for seeing people in the dark in multiplayer, or keeping track of a mob like a zombie.

  I think this idea would be awesome! Because of the lighting engine the stuff would kinda just be neon and I think it would be best just for looks tbh.
