Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Obsidian building blocks

I think it would be a good idea for obsidian to have more uses than just our nether portals. Obsidian slabs, stairs, pressure plates, and fences, would make for a great addition to our selection of building blocks included in the stone based sub category of materials

    It would be cool to see an obsidian brick or something like it.
    Would be cool for prison builds
    With its blast resistance and since it's hard to mine.

    I think it should be just slabs, stairs, and polished obsidian slabs and stairs.

    I had an idea or that too, but a lot more like buttons and doors similar too iron doors. I like it.

    I agree though wouldn't mind seeing the texture change as well to make it more appealing maybe something more like Fire Obsidian to give it a neat look. This also could make a relatable mechanic were leaving an obsidian block exposed to the overworld surface for a long time would turn it to crying obsidian, and following rules of copper a wax layer to protect it in builds.
