The Thorns enchantment should protect you from environmental damage.

Thorns should grant protection from Sweet Berry Bushes, Cacti, and Wither Roses. Thorns I should delay damage by a few seconds. Thorns II should delay damage by several seconds. Thorns III should make you immune to those items damaging you.

    I love this idea! the Thorn enchant definitely feels like a useless enchant that just clogs up the loot table, so this would actually give it a niche.
