Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    that is very sensible i like it but i think you should be able to do it with any wood it would just affect the colour e.g. if you used blue on birch it would come out light blue but if you used blue on dark oak it would come out a shade of navy

    This could add to the existing threads of paint on it's own and the ability to paint blocks.  The original concept of painting blocks would be to paint one side of a block for a wall, without having to double wall or split the blocks.  

     

    Dying the blocks is a different concept as it would dye the entire block, not just one face of it.  Nice concept, and it could allow for more new colors like navy, olive or salmon (to name a few) that the game doesn't currently have.
