Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Light bulbs & switches

It would make it much easier to have lights, so you don't have to have a bunch of Redstone in your house, or walls. you make it with 1 Redstone, a lever, and 4 oak planks, and 3 glass you make both of them with that one crafting recipe, they are both one item, you place the light first and then the switch.

    maybe instead of light bulbs and switches, it could be Redstone inside of a block? if so, this is the crafting recipe.
