Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bat Houses and Guano

It would be nice to add bat houses/boxes into the game to be able to spawn or keep bats above sea level.

The boxes would essentially work just like beehives, but the bats would go in at daytime and come out at night. 

When filled with bats, the bat houses could produce "Guano" like the beehives produce honey, except that the guano would drop as an item from the bat house where it could be collected by the player or a hopper. The guano would have the same effect as bone meal by increasing the maturity of plants. 

Bat houses could then serve as reliable source of fertilizer, and make bats more valuable.

    I wouldn't have them actually drop anything, just increase plant growth beneath it

    I would prefer if guano served as a fuel source. I agree with the bats boosting growth rates of surrounding farmland.

    This would be perfect for giving bats a purpose, especially since now they have an updated cuter model. Would be great to have the ability to use the bee nests during the day for your crops, and then the bat boxes would be working at night. Gives you the ability to better utilize all resources possible to upgrade your farms
