1.8.9 PvP as a setting

There is lots of controversy about 1.8 vs 1.14 pvp, and i personally like 1.8.9 pvp, but im not asking to bring back only 1.8 pvp, but to have it as a setting. not a cheat, but a setting.

    as a command or smth like /pvp gamemode1 for 1.9+ or /pvp gamemode 2 for 1.8.9

    Yeah, or something like swords having no delay while axes still have the same delay/damage.

    yes, i've thought the same thing. this way people can have their preferred combat without mods, and maybe technoblade can stop being accused of hacking
