Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Straw Fences and Straw Stairs

I personally want this just because straw was historically used in building often. Making something akin to a straw roof can be done with hay bales, but it ends up looking quite clunky and odd, especially due to the red band on the texture, so a stair variant could work seeing as how stairs are commonly used for rooves anyway. A straw fence could be a fence with a different look. Perhaps with it's texture and model more like a window pane where it doesn't take a whole block, and is also just a square, unlike fences which have four prisms intersecting with each other. Just some simple blocks that could be useful in medieval builds.
