Seasons

I think there should be seasons in Minecraft like winter,summer, fall, and spring. The seasons should change every 50 Minecraft days. In each season ther should be a special thing happening.

Winter: in winter it should snow a lot and you won’t see a lot of animals. I think animals should be scarce and they should hibernate. Crops outside should die and in winter only an indoor garden is possible. There should be a texture in winter where everything is icy. Also, there should be blizzards and snowstorms that damage you if outside, like in thunderstorms you can sleep through them

Spring: in spring more flowers should spaw and there should be more rain. In the spring there should be more baby animals spawning. There should be new tree textures so that trees can become pink to show that they are blooming. Dead crops can be revived with bonemeal in the spring as well.

summer: in the summer there should be heat and sometimes water sources can disappear. Now all the animals are out and life is normal. Summer should be like Minecraft now.

fall: in the fall there should be a new tree texture where some trees leaves turn red orange and yellow. Now animals are becoming scarce and some food like mushrooms have become very common. For fall there should be acorns and other stuff.   

 

Also there should be new animals like deer and squirrels

    If you stay outside in winter for 3+ days you get frostbite or hypothermia and slowly loose health

    I think that Minecraft needs to add seasons, because it would be more realistic with seasons, because this option would make a feeling that you are in real world. There is also a benefit because it would be a good combo with shaders. But for some people are seasons bad because they could ruin their builds. But Mojang could make a command that stops seasons and a command to set seasons (for example: /season fall), so that would solve this problem. There is a also one bad thing about adding seasons is that new biome that will Mojang add will be "lamefietd" by seasons, because it would must turn the orange leaves to green leaves. But I have got a solution for this. In spring would a block of leaves look a little bit green and orange. In summer leaves would be really small green and orange and red.In fall leaves would be in normal stage (original look). Because I'm definitely not a expert for coding I will leave how would seasons work to developers of Minecraft

    That is a great idea, but because of how real seasons work, it should only have all 4 seasons in a temperate climate biome, in a cold climate there should only be 2 seasons, night and day, furthermore, in a tropical climate, there should be 2 seasons, one of dry, and one of wet.

    Also, this is not an add on, this is an update.
