In some of the new caves the bats could form colonies where they are asleep and that when the player makes a noise they wake up and attack in an angry pack the closest mob in their radius, regardless of whether it is peaceful or not.
In other words, a single bat is harmless, but an angry colony can cause harm.
They could make the bats go unnoticed in the dark, so a player wouldn't know if they're near a colony.
These bat colonies could be placed in some of the new caves by doing certain things that harm the player.
Dripstone caves: the bat colonies would fly aggressively, so many stalactites would fall, damaging the mobs.
Warden: the bats being awakened could generate a noise that attracts the attention of the warden, something that could be beneficial and detrimental to the player
when waking up a colony, the bats would make a lot of noise, so the warden goes that place (whether the player is here or not) with this mechanic the player could confuse the warden.
I would also like to know if you are interested in an albino bat, it would only appear in bat colonies, being a bit more visible to the player and indicating that it is close to a colony.
