Attack villagers plus follow villagers

Attack villagers have red clothes and hurt players and follow villagers only follow the player even if there’s a cliff/lava pit

    So would they guard the villagers from raids and zombies? Mojang already said they're not going to make villagers fight in anyway "they're pretty chill" .. Why not improve golems ?
