Full Chainmail Armor protects the player from lightning damage when struck

With the arrival of the lightning rod, future players may find themselves getting struck by lightning more often. So Full Chainmail Armor protects the player from lightning damage when struck by lightning in a thunderstorm. If the player is struck by lightning, the player takes no damage but is still set on fire.

Full Chainmail Armor must be worn as it acts as a type of Farday Cage protecting the player from dangerous electrical currents. No protection is granted to the player if they are only wearing some Chainmail Armor.

    Wouldn't this be applicable to all metal armors?

    This actually makes sense! Chainmail real life protects you from bolts of electricity while regular iron armor doesn't.

    metal is very conductive so why would wearing this be beneficial?. it would just attract lightning more and zap your soul to the nether and back.

    While, technically, any metal armor should work as a Faraday cage, giving that ability only to chainmail would give players a reason to use it. It would come in handy when searching for skeleton traps.

    Devin Baron  Chain mail in real life actually protects you from electricity versus regular metaled armor which would shock you.
