Copper Blocks Age Faster in the End

I think the should be a way to make copper age faster. However at Minecraft Live it was said that they want aging copper to show the age of a world. Making copper age faster in the end would not necessarily show the age of world but it would show  accomplishments for getting to the end and (probably) beating the ender dragon. The end itself also seems very decayed so copper aging makes sense there. I also the the copper blocks should advance a stage around every ten minutes while in the end.

  It may be better if in the end, the copper never oxidizes, but it is actually faster in the nether, or if underwater.
