Hollow Bark Blocks

    maybe you are even able to carve a hole in the side of the bark, so if, say, a bridge has a seiries of logs going down each side, you can crawl through one par of one side and jump (or something) to get up to the new level through the hole in the side of the hollow bark (maybe called hollow log?)

    On the extreme level of possibility, you could make these hollow logs transparent to red stone (but not to light) and so you can put redstone inside. This would allow for multiple redstone lines running parallel with no space between, giving it a practical purpose as well.
