A variant of Stalactites in cold biomes: Icicles!

Icicles would act the same as stalactites, except they would look like ice instead of a rock.

    Mojang this is under caves and cliffs review but caves and cliffs is already out. Please add this in the future anyway? Maybe in 1.19 or something. 

    Other updates we want

    -END UPDATE (for Christ’s sake)

    -update the other hot biomes also in the wild update

    -cold biomes update 

    -more crystals and cave biomes a cave update part three maybe add archeology too

    -more plants in forests and other ecosystems

    -a food update

    -graphics update, (better shadows, realistic lighting.) ik there raytracing but that’s for Java only 

    -ocean update 2.0

    These should definately spawn on villager house roofs in ice spike villages and tundra villages after it snows.

    Once I heard about this it seemed so simple to accomplish and obvious, that it's actually shocking it wasn't added to 1.18 in the first place. I honestly feel like the ball was dropped on this. Icicles could function exactly like dripstone with water above them, and would make fully automatic ice farms possible. You could additional add placing lava above the icicle cause it to fall, so if you didn't want to make a flying machine farm, you could have a system that removes the water and replaces it with lava when it's time to harvest. PLEASE get this into the Wild update. PLEASE.

    You should be able to dye drip stone. In life it’s many colors

    this idea sounds amazing. Icicles would fit minecaft nice. Although it would look better if it wasn't a dripstone thats a different colour. But still this would be a good idea.

    Sounds like a good idea, also would work with the ice spike biome. Also it would be nice if it had different properties and uses.

    In my opinion, this is a amazing idea! I think there would be a danger factor along with it. For example… if you mine the block above the Icicle it could result with falling on the player dealing 2-3 hearts of damage. There could be a dripping affect similar to the stalactites and can be obtained in ice biome deep caves or cliffs using a pickaxe with the “Silk touch” enchantment. There is a lot of potential with this idea and I hope to see it in game!
