The damage of falling stalactites should decrease if you wear a helmet

I've seen the short video of the falling stalactite, and it seems like it can kill the player from 5 blocks of height? I think the damage should get reduced, depending on the helmet you wear. And only the helmet, it should ignore the other armor parts when dealing damage.

I think that from the same height, a leather helmet should let you live with about one and a half hearts, chainmail and gold with two hearts, iron with three, diamond with four and a half and netherite with five and a half hearts. This would make it less deadly, without taking the danger away completely. But on the other hand, it should take away 5 durability points or even 5% of it, (I'd rather say 5% because the really good armor is already OP enough) so that you would still have to watch out.

  Half heart with leather, one heart with chain and gold, two for iron, three for diamond, and four for netherite, or perhaps a specialized helmet enchantment that reduces the damage from stalactites by a certain amount.
