Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

paint on walls and ceilings

when designing interior rooms, sometimes the exterior ruins the looks on the inside.
 
so my idea would be to create a paint can and brush. crafting this could be with dye and milk bucket or a block of your choosing and a milk bucket.
 
the use of this is so when you want a oak plank wall but the outside is cobblestone, the paint can can paint the oak planks onto the wall without changing the outside. it makes designing a lot more easier plus you don't have to use a two block thick wall to change the inside of a house.
 
what's your thoughts? if this is a great idea maybe try and get the Mojang company to see this and make this happen.

    Cool idea! Maybe also you can ‘paint’ drawings onto it by just literally swiping around on the wall?

    yeah! i think it would be awesome to paint the inside of a house so you could have brick on the outside of the house but on the inside you could have a totally different block without having to take up extra space
