With all the work on the mountains goats spawn on it got me thinking about new types of ice/snow structures we could have in minecraft, a cool new ice structure that would generate in the snowy biomes minecraft has to offer would be : Frozen Lakes ! A new type of structure that is exactly what it sounds like, a frozen over lake ! The lake should be deep enough in order for the player to tell that it's a lake to begin with, not just a 1block tall sheet of ice, it should be either completely frozen over or partally frozen over in order to add to the overall aspet of the snowy frozen biomes, the benefit to adding this structure would be that not only would it add to the overall aspect of the frozen environment but it would also act as a land mark for players, who would forget coming across a frozen lake? the generation rate of the frozen lake should be relatively rare. And perhaps it should include seapickles at the bottom in order for players to really get a sense of the depth of the lake while standing ontop of the ice. Perhaps you could even add the glowsquid under the ice of the frozen lake in order to signify that water is below the lake and life is possible under it aswell.
