Similar to how ice is almost invisible when looked at in the night time in real life, a cool new block idea to add to the 1.17 update would be : Dark Ice ! i think this new ice block should be an aquamarine type of color and should be included in the snow mountain generation for the cliff's part of the 1.17 update, it should be a aquamarine type of color and would fit in well with the 1.17 update because it would add a new type of gameplay experience, that experience being that the Dark Ice block would be almost impossible to see during the night time in minecraft, similar to how ice is normally very hard to see in the night, so an affect it should have would be that as the night time comes the block would slowly turn almost invisible kind of like glass except your still able to tell the block is there if ur close enough to it. Another affect it should have would be that it is extremely slippery, this new type of ice block should be the slipperiest ice block yet, it should be slippery in order to scare the player when they walk or run over it during the night time, it really enhances the effect the snowy mountains would have. This ice block should be generated under snow blocks, ontop of mountains, and in general it should add to the frozen aspect of the snowy mountains, the aquamarine color benefitting to the overall feeling of the environment. Another feature you could include would be that if stood on for a long period of time the player would recieve the frozen affect.
