Hi,
i do not know wheter the game can tell between a loaded chunk which has had activity in it (broken blocks, placed blocks or dropped items) and a chunk where you just passed thorugh while exploring.
If so it would be very helpful to have under optimize world options the possiblity to delete data regarding to loaded but non modified chuncks in order to greatly reduce occupied space on the disk of worlds which have been widely explored.
Considering the caves and cliffs will give you more reasons to explore it would be very helpful if possible.
