Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I like where this idea is going, but I would enjoy seeing not only bow rods, but crossbow rods enter the game.
Maybe not diamond (as it does not bend), but I can see copper lined rods, or if more metals are added to game I can see them having rods.

I would prefer if the interface was like the loom. You have your rod, your string (maybe we can make reinforced string or metal wires), and a handle or stabilizer. (Handle makes a crossbow, stabilizer makes arrows go farther in a straight line) maybe players can add or modify a trident to fit as a stabilizer or make it part of the handle to have channeling, and loyalty (without having to enchant arrows)

And with arrows I can see players having a 2nd menu for making arrows or quivers.
I could see it being a singular item with changeable stats based on materials used!
Like maybe having a flint tip is a 1, then an iron is a 2, copper would be 3 etc.
Making arrows would require the tip, the stick (maybe interchangeable?) And the fletching (I could see bats having a fletching drop, or using blaze powder as a fletching for maybe exploding arrows?)
Combined in a rabbit hide (holds 16 arrows) or a leather (64 arrows) making interchangeable integers for item data would allow us to have customized arrows without having individual items (like potion dipped arrows).

I see alot of potential in the fletching table and it's use in minecraft!

I think it could be used to make a netherite bow

"You could also craft potion arrows through the fletching table."

This is the way. Tipped arrows are really annoying to craft. I would suggest allowing 64 arrows to be combined with one lingering potion in the fletching table would make them much more accessible in game.

All kinds of crafting composite bows, installing sights and winches on a crossbow are the functionality of a workbench.
Fletching involves highly specialized interaction with arrows. For example, the creation of arrows that drop when the target dies (hunting); arrows with a half-moon tip for small targets (hitbox increased); Arrows made of alternative materials, where the plumage is made of leather, and the tip is made of a fragment of amethyst.
