(This is a revamp of an idea I previously had.) The new Deep Dark cave biome is very interesting, and could definitely add some lore to the game. To add to this lore, I think a new archaeology structure is in order: Ancient Pyramids. These massive structures would have a 64x64 block radius, and would be made of the new unnamed stone found in the Deep Dark, including stairs and slabs.
It would have a drop at the upper floor that leads to the lower floor, which is made up of 4 rooms: A parkour course over a deep pit that leads to a couple of loot chests, a maze that leads to the exit, which would be a small natural cave exposed to the surface, a zombie spawner room, and last but not least, the treasury. Once you walk into this room, gravel falls behind you, trapping you in, and then the stone statue of the Warden in front of you would come to life, and starts to attack. It has the same health and strength as the Warden, but can actually see. Instead of using a sword to kill it, you would use a pickaxe. The higher the tier, the more damage it would do. Once the creature is defeated, it will drop a key to the altar in the center of the treasury, that when unlocked with the key, would reveal a staircase to the treasury that is below, filled with valuables such as diamonds, emeralds, Totems of Undying, and more.
I would also imagine that this pyramid would be filled with gravel and dirt that can be brushed away to reveal loot, considering it's an archeological structure.
