This block is crafted using amethyst and copper. This block produces a magic beam downwards which if it hits an enchantment table, it will temporarily boost it's enchantments. The only way to power the Channeler is by connecting it yo a lightning rod and having lightning strike it. The enchantment table could give you the option to cheapen the current enchantments, give you better enchantments then what your bookshelves can provide or give you more enchantment options. If you max bookshelves a boosted enchantment table could have the chance of giving you enchantments you can't normally get through the table. I think the Amethyst Channeler is a good idea because it gives players another reason to get excited by a thunderstorm and would make the lightning rod a lot more useful. Also pop culture has used lightning in many magical ways which minecraft has surprisingly never taken too much advantage of. With the introduction of the lightning rod I think that minecraft should start using electricity a lot more in their new updates.
