Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Beacon Redirection and Beam Powers

Using the amethyst shards you should be able to make prisms to redirect the beacon beam, depending on what this beam makes contact with the beam will do different things one idea being the ability to burn things when the beam goes through an amplifier another block made possible with the amethyst shards. There would also be an extender to make the beam go longer like a repeater makes redstone go longer

    just decided to write a post about this and came across your post. great idea. but I think that it is worth stopping only at the redirection of the beacon beam

    The block that would bed the beam should be called a prism, but it shouldn’t burn stuff since I think the beam must go up in thne sky somewhere. The beacon power should also just be centered out of the pyramid of the beacon, not the beacon itself so you cant have like infinite range of a beacon. The reach of the beam should be infinte though, so you can send messages and stuff between bases
