Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Deepstone (Edited)

There can be a new ore called deepstone which can only be found underwater. You can smelt deepstone into deepstone shards and they can be used to create deepstone tools and weapons and armor. Deepstone armor can give you faster underwater mining and the tools will unfortunately is not stronger than netherite..

    I agree that it would be nice to have something that increases underwater mining speed, but I think netherite should remain at the very top, because aside from other players there's already nothing you really need netherite for. It's nice, but you don't have to have netherite. Deepstone would just be even more cheese, and by being in the overworld it becomes way more accessible than netherite, making that entire tier redundant.

    How about this. Deep stone is fast underwater but slow over water. Like turtle helmet.

    Netherite sounds more complicated to get and the nether is a stronger dimension than the overworld. Not better than netherite.
