Candles should not emit smoke or blink

Candles don’t visibly emit smoke IRL or blink so why would this be like that in game?

  Fire light sources actually do blink irl. Though I do agree with the smoke. No smoke when lit, but should emit smoke for about 120 seconds or more when the flame is put out.
