Candle flame particles shouldn't randomly go out

    They should at most flicker like how torches do, keep a flame that is stationary, and put the particle effect over that so it looks like it's flickering but has a constant flame

    This but it should change the wick texture into an animated lit form with those particles.

    They're those trick birthday candles. Sigh.

    Yes, I agree. I'm ok with them having some flickering and variability, like the environment is a bit drafty, but going out entirely takes away from the esthetic that makes me want to use them in the first place.

    Lol We've just started using candles for the first time in our new world and I've just spent the last 10 minutes trying to find a jira report for this. Weird design choice I guess?

    Yes. Please fix this - it is a very annoying immersion breaking issue. The candles are a great idea - but they go out randomly. Thanks.
