The Caves and Cliffs Update is introducing Archaeology, and with it opens a lot of new possibilities for Minecraft. One idea I had was finding these Egyptian like tombs that you could dig up, inside the tomb you could find a group of mobs like husks or cave spiders, or maybe find a mob spawned with them. You can kill the mobs and go in the tomb, where there can be patches of sand that you can brush away to find some artifacts, possibly a special type of brush or ceramic shard. There can also be a chest with some decent loot. There could also be a special rare tomb that would contain a new boss inside that you fight upon releasing it, and it could give you some special drop that can help you progress in the game.
