I love the idea that in the larger parts of the caves in this biome you could have an almost parkour-like setup where you have to jump between sections of stable ground in order not to fall through the floor.

Imagine this paired with a dripstone cave below and then falling on a stalagmite

I like the idea of having pillars which go up through the lower cave and the tops of them are safe to stand on

This is a great idea because it would encourage players to practice parkour. However, I believe there should be an in-game timer that causes heavy frailstone to fall when finished as it will be annoying to navigate across the caves if heavy frailstone instantly broke.

The timer should lower if the frailstone is not connected to blocks on one of its sides.

PlushYapper0483, truggles69 Yes definitely, I think that after being stepped on it should go through a shaking and cracking animation before finally giving out, which should give players time to react.

This is a great idea for a challenge. They should also add an item or something you can get from there.

Like a lukewarm ocean biome? Very interesting.

The Slow Fall Potion should protect against the destruction of these blocks.

But wouldn't you walk through the biome once and destroy it permanently?

Rothdorf That's why you need to watch your step, because if you just walked though you'd certainly fall. Also not every part of the floor breaks so there are some stable patches.

I would love to see a stone Dripleaf.  Instead of just one type of Frailstone, have two: Frailstone and Stable Frailstone, with both looking identical except the stable one was a little darker.  Half the blocks here would be stable, while half the blocks would be frail.  But even the Stable Frailstone would still fall if there were less than 48 blocks in a horizontal 7 by 7 square surrounding it, so if you set off just one Frailstone, the rest of the cave will become less stable.  This would set off chain reactions around the caves that are more subtle than just floating sand.

this is an amazing idea. the name of the post is intriguing, so I just had to find out what exactly this is.

I'm wondering if there would be a way to farm this, it could possibly grow horizontally from other frailstone blocks if the nearby block isn't cracked, assuming the block doesn't reset and instead cracks gradually.

If stepped on frailstone, it should also break other frailstone blocks that are touching it to make it a little more harder to treverse.
