Visual brushing layers (Archeology)

The issues with the appearance of the brushing mechanic could be fixed by making the brushable blocks have a subtle layered looking texture (four pixels high) that the brush could remove one by one, instead of layering down by one pixel each time which looked to detailed and out of place.

    I think layer-by-layer excavation is much more realistic.
