Hello I’ve been doing terraforming recently and I feel like there’s not very many ground cover options so I suggest herbs and roots! (Basically plants :3) I feel like having herb and roots would allow for some interesting terrain. My idea is just four or five new ground covering plants and to make them more useful each plant could drop its own herb and or root when mined. The herb that drop from the plants could be used to create medicines to cure status effects such as wither, poison, nausea, slowness, mining fatigue, etc. Having medicine means that milk’s overpoweredness could be nerfed making the game a bit harder. :D (thank you for your time :3)
