Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Beacons should have night vision as an optional effect.

Night vision is a pretty average effect, not super game-changing. I think it is pretty equal to something like jump boost or resistance. I’m debating whether it should be in the 2nd tier or the max tier along with regeneration, since it only has one level. Others have suggested that it makes sense since the beacon beam would light up the area around it. This would help people when mining when they don't feel like lighting up caves or just general use.

    This would have been perfect for 1.18. Would defintely help with mining in large caves.
