    The mushroom lights aren't bright enough to completely stop mobs from spawning, just make it harder. Also, they would not melt ice. (Minecraft needs more lights that don't melt ice.)

    I think  these biomes should be more likely to generate or only generate under/near mushroom islands.

    If these Mushroom Biomes Spawn only Beneath Mushroom Islands, They will be extremely rare and precious, But i think they can spawn under jungles too because Jungles Have Poisonous Animals so they fit in Jungles too. Btw i Like this Biome, and it fits in the caves

    Generation should be independent of mushroom islands and above ground biomes. The color pallet should be a mix of dark blue, green, and purple, with maybe a bit of golden brown. I dislike the current white and light blue texture in the picture, it looks a bit too candy-cane, and should instead be a dully glowing but lively grotto. The glow should definitely be dim, far more so than in the picture. I would recommend at least two if not three types of large mushrooms, at least one or two small size only growths, and maybe one vine type thing (greater amount of the new glow lichen?). This could also be a good place to add an idea of mine for a muddy-clay like block that takes an iron shovel to mine can can not be mined with a pick or hand, in addition to large amounts of mycelium.

    I've been wanting something like this since well before the Cave update, and had hoped they would include this in the Cave update.

    Me encanta, creo que estos deberían ser generados directamente debajo de las islas seta, seria lo mas lógico a mi parecer, y creo que deberían tener un color anaranjado (para ser diferenciados de los otros hongos) y debería tener un brillo similar al de el hongo marrón y en este bioma se podrían generar de forma natural los líquenes.

    Glowing lichens should generate more often in the cave.

    New Luminoud Mushrooms should be aquamarine in color and come in small and large varieties. The Luminous Mushroom should be at level 4, and the blocks of the large Luminous Mushroom should glow at level 7.

    A new fish could appear in the water that would glow like a blaze.

    How about we call it the Fluorescent Fungal Forest biome and the glowing mushrooms can be used to make X-Ray potions which allows you to see 10 blocks within walls to find ores and loot. An NPC called Funguy (see what I did there) can trade you spores which is like bone meal but for mushrooms and it can also sell you other fungi and plant items.

    There are probably more than 20 seperate posts about this same idea. Somehow all those people need to find out about this. Can the developers help with that?

    Maybe where there are aquifers, drowned could spawn in this biome. If drowned finally get a glowing texture for their face on Java, this would make sense.

    I think it would be cool if there is Cave Mycelium and a hostile/neutral mushroom mobs
